It was 37" but the girth was ridiculous!

Me? Yeah, I fly fish a little. That big Redfish wasn't a fly... we were surf fishing in Texas with baitfish. There is great trout fishing in my are though. 100's of miles of streams in my 45 mile radius.

I'll go anywhere and bring my boat too. We can fish muskie and northern in Green Bay, we can fish for Browns in Milwaukee...

Striped bass on Watts Bar Lake, TN. Fall of 2018, IIRC. I've caught bigger, but "photos or it didn't happen."

Nice! Is that a what we call Rockfish back in Maryland? I didn't know those were in inland lakes. Nice fish! Did you talk to Grant Menefee about fishing too? He fishes for Strippers too!

I've heard them called Rock Bass before. These things are pretty crazy in that they can thrive in salt, brackish, or fresh water. They are stupid aggressive when feeding in schools and when you hook one, you're in for a 10 minute fight, minimum. The one in the photo was about 15 lbs and it was my biggest on that trip. The guy I went with caught a 36 pounder the next day. It was 5' long and took 30+ minutes to land.

Grant and I did talk fishing and boating, but it wasn't part of our interview for the show. If Covid ever goes away, I'm going to go fishing with him on the bay for some monster saltwater Stripers. They get even bigger in salt water.

It's the closest I can get to catching a fish.

You don't want a fish out of the Malden River.

Just remember that Red Drum spelled backwards is MURDDER. Poor fishies. Just kidding.... I wish I had the fishing bug, seems like so many people I know have great times and great memories of fishing. Now, I did catch a northern pike in Minnesota once when I was a kid. Scared the shit out of me.
