    What am I sitting on?

It's been a minute... grabbed these back in 2015, and they still live on my "Projects" shelf.

$140 for the set, because homeboy had no idea what he had. They're mine now, and I have no idea what I have, except that I have already made upwards of $300 selling off the spares that came with it (Gibralter Rack/Sabian Pies/Random Stands), and still have all the tubs.

I've heard "Super Classics" and "Thermogloss", but not really sure since none of them had badges, some don't have vents, and all are 3-ply w/rings. Don't know when the maple reso hoops got added, but don't feel like they're original, since only some of the claws are stamped WFL.

    Whatchoo all thinks?

    14 x 10
    15 x 12
    16 x 16
    24 x 14
    14 x 5 Supra

It's a mongrel for sure. No way for me to tell without actually being there, and even then it's a crap shoot. BD spurs are not what I associate with vintage Ludwigs. If Ludwig ever used those, it was past the point of my paying attention to them. I can't even tell if those Ludwig lugs.

I'm starting to believe this about them... the lack of vents was the first flag, no apparent badges, etc.

Any thoughts on who would have produced 3-ply Thermogloss shells with rings, but no vents?

No idea. This is outside my experience.

Has any drum company produced drums without vents? I have never seen a Ludwig without one. How do they sound?🤔

No clue. They came apart as soon as I could get to 'em. Pulled the wrap off to reveal a horribly failed attempt at sanding.
