This drum has a 3/16" round over with a 45 degree inner bearing edge. Similar to old Ludwig snare beds, slightly deeper but just as wide. The customer, another GN bro, is having this made for his daughter. All Drum Foundry hardware and he wanted the broken glass glitter inlay. I added the purple metal flake glitter interior just for fun and that little extra custom touch (that probably nobody will ever see). I will either post it here when finished or perhaps start a new Showcase thread.

I guess I never posted a finished version of this drum I mentioned above a couple years ago. 5.5x14 stacked euro ply rings with segmented maple bearing edges, broken glass glitter inlay, purple glitter lacquer interior, Drum Foundry hardware...

Very cool! I'm not usually a huge fan of S-hoops, but I have to say they look great with those lugs.

Thanks! I wish I could take credit, but the customer selected them (and all other hardware). I agree, they look pretty good with the rest of the hardware. I just tried to think of them as stubby stick savers.

Turned out great! The hardware choice with the finish goes well together.
