If you want your drums to look great, you generally have to pay top dollar. The big drum companies charge thousands of dollars for drums that feature their top-of-the-line finishes. Custom finishing shops do great work, but their prices are often out of reach for the little guy. If you don't spend big bucks on a drum kit, then you're usually stuck with a plain old wrap in plain old black, white or wine red. You can recover your drums yourself, but your options are also limited there. If your tastes don't run toward sparkles, pearls or glassy glitters, you're out of luck....until now. Drum Designs gives you a professional looking finish in a wrap product that won't empty your bank account. Now you can look like a pro, at a fraction of the cost.

Real wood, in a wrap!
Do you like the look of woodgrain, but can't get a high-dollar stain-and-lacquer finish on your drums? We offer several varieties and endless colors of authentic woodgrain that has been professionally reproduced and transferred to a synthetic wrap. You can even get the look of exotic woodgrains like bubinga, ash and many burled varieties. Putting real, exotic wood on your drums costs a fortune. But you can put on a wrap that looks just like real wood, and cover your entire kit for about $300, often less.

Cool textures and custom imagery
If wood isn't your thing, we also have many other textures to choose from, including digital images of sky, space and ocean. We have surface images of the Moon, Mars and Venus. These are finishes that you just can't find at most other drum wrap outlets. Browse our gallery, and see if you don't agree! And if you don't see what you want in the gallery, just inquire about a custom finish that will be all your own. If you can dream it up, we can put just about anything you want on your drums. Sheets big enough for almost any drum
Our wraps are 22 mil thick, or approximately 1/50th of an inch. They are sturdy, but bendable and easy to work with. They can be cut with heavy-duty scissors, or with a razor blade. We custom make wraps to fit your drums, and we can make them large enough to cover your bass drum IN ONE PIECE. Most wrap outlets sell 54" sheets that won't fit all the way around. So you have to buy an extra sheet, which costs you more and leaves an extra seam in your bass drum. Drum Designs saves you time and money by letting you get it all done in one shot! For most kits, we can provide custom trimmed pieces for an average total cost of about $50 per drum, depending on sizes. Send us the sizes of your drums for a detailed quote.
