    Thanks. Here's two (slightly) better photos. Now to build a piccolo to match. Boy, I wish there were piccolo-scale lugs available to match these.

    i seem it but it didn't register in my head what it was til about 1/2 a hour later, so i went back to really look at it. someone else did the same thing (but a different image) a few year ago. i seen it on some tumblr drum site.

    Not to belittle your work here, but did Bonham ever play a wood snare, and if ever, would it have been a big deep one? i guess Acrolites don't go well with wood burning tools.

    Got to see this first hand at the Big Bang booth. The finished product came out looking and sounding great. Also, the full HD kit in the corner of the booth both looked and sounded fantastic! keep up the great work Rhett.

    Hey Fellas! My brother in law is an artist and helped me out with this snare for the NAMM show. I thought it turned out pretty cool! Loved the sound as well, 14x8x1/4" thick maple stave shell.

    The difference in depth is much more noticeable at a distance and in a concert hall. Up close in a small room, it's sometimes hard to tell.
